Bridging Basic and Clinical Pharmacology
GENERAL INFORMATION

Congress Venue
The congress will take place at the Bella Center which has 115,000 square metres of exhibition area and conference facilities gathered under one roof and are thus the largest of its kind in Scandinavia. The Congress Center has what is probably the most advanced venue information technology network in Europe. The location is ideal because the rapid metro of Copenhagen will make the Congress Center, downtown Copenhagen and the Airport no more than 10 minutes from each other.

Visiting Copenhagen
Copenhagen is at the cross-roads between Continental Europe and Scandinavia and the Baltic area. The sea and waterfront dominates the city that has kept an old-world charm. The city’s old streets and architecture blends in with modern design symbolising its rapid growth.

The modest size of the city is a great advantage for visitors. The best sights are within the centre which has a bustling pedestrian shopping area called “Strøget”. Most roads have a bike lane, and compared with other European cities there is little traffic. Visitors may enjoy a leisurely stroll in a relaxed and safe environment – or a bicycle ride using the ubiquitous “free of charge” city bikes.
